Photographs first
The original archive records the work before the finished surfaces hide it. Dated images establish a photographed sequence; they do not automatically prove an installation specification, completion date or measured performance.
Illustrations with a source
New drawings explain visible arrangements and recorded equipment. Their labels distinguish documented details from concealed or unresolved ones. A component overview is different from a terminal-level wiring schematic.
Privacy in the published files
Public photographs are selected web copies with location metadata removed. Identifying details may be covered, cropped or replaced. Where a branded plate appears, it reads MKGAWNDR and is an editorial privacy stand-in. The awning image uses an AI-assisted privacy edit; it is illustrative and is not used as a measurement source.
Private album links, raw receipts, personal contact information, vehicle identifiers and account records are kept out of the site. Edited public downloads use the same reviewed assets as the pages.
Historical costs, without invented totals
The cost notebook separates owner recollections, invoice lines, order items and merchant-paid records. It preserves unknown amounts and never substitutes a current shop price for a missing historical expense.
A growing guide
The library follows documented stages of Walter’s conversion, with practical planning guidance for other campervan layouts. Each chapter identifies its source and any concealed construction details that remain unresolved. The DC notebook is owner-confirmed; cable/protection checks and the hidden AC wire trace remain open. The drawer planner calculates locally in the page. Optional measurement and your choices are explained in the privacy notice. The site has no sign-in or advertising scripts.
